We are a small group of Year 10 and 11 students on the Autistic Spectrum who enjoy developing our awareness of the world around us through sensory exploration. Our topic based learning provides lots of opportunities to engage and have fun in a wide range of learning experiences. Through practical activities we work at developing our functional skills and particularly focus on using PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) to develop our communication skills.
Autumn Term - Our topic for the term is the Invictus Games which has provided fun opportunities for us to exercise and get fit!
Our topic for the term is the Greatest Showman. The music and drama provides great scope for lots of colour, sounds, lights and textures. Take a look at our Greatest Showman sensory story.
